If your magnet is misplaced for lost, your cable will not allow you to use the Interactive Knitting (IK) function in designaknit. IK is also known as knit from screen, knit radar, and knit leader. Some knitting machine models have the IK function built in and you won't need a magnet. Just leave the cable plugged into the knitting machine after downloading a stitch pattern. If you do need a magnet, then this is the one for you. Attaches to a velcro pad on the carriage, it is easily adjusted to trigger the  sensor controlling DesignaKnit's IK function.
