The other end of the Pin Protector is now the new safer place to plug and unplug the DesignaKnit Cable. This will prevent accidental damage like a bent pin or loosening the 8 pin connector from the circuit board inside your knitting machine. 

You won't have to worry about getting parts to make a repair and there won't be a chance of shipping damages to ship the machine for the repair. It's a great little insurance policy.
