Pictures Into Afghans (Hard Copy Version) uses most types of paint software to easily create stunning afghan from photos. Suggested: use Paint (in Windows, Accessories),
paint shop pro 8 or IrfanView.com (freeware) to manipulate a graphic image into a knitting machine compatible sized image. You can use many other paint programs as well. The results can be imported into DesignaKnit, Crea or Creation 6, into the Super Cartridge or through SilverKnit.
Tips on how to select, crop, filter for greater detail, use Gamma correction to make an image darker or lighter with lots of hints along the way. It's easy and quick once you understand how to select an appropriate image and process it.
