Hand Knitted entrelac Scarf For Beginners - If you do not know how to knit entrelac patterns, this is a very good pattern for you. It was written to help a beginner avoid making mistakes. There are several little maps showing you exactly where and what you are knitting. The Entrelac Scarf has all the components required to make an entrelac project. You will learn to cast on the base triangles, knit each end triangle then the right slanting and left stanting diamond shapes. Finally you will learn the bind-off triangles. If it seems like it's too difficult, you will really appreciate how this pattern is written and illustrated. The Entrelac Scarf uses one 200g ball or worsted weight yarn to make a 45" long scarf about 5 inches wide. The yarn used in the photo is Plymouth Encore ColorSpun 7990 which is a drift-shading yarn.
