Hand Knitted Entrelac Hat - This entrelac hat is sewn together at the crown and does not require decrease stitches. There are two choices of bands. A regular ribbed band or a fold over ribbed band as shown in the photo. The folded band has a softer edge and more elastic fit. So if you like a snugger band, use the fold-over version. The softer edge of a folded ban is more flattering as well.

 

This Entrelac Hat requires one 200g ball of worsted weight yarn. This is a good project to begin learning the entrelac technique. It doesn't require vertical "end" triangles and doesn't require bind-off triangles either. You can add interest by using two colors or more of yarn.
