FB100 Emulator - The FB100 Emulator is a freeware program that is used in conjunction with either the BL1-USB or BL5-USB cable.

The FB100 Emulator will allow you to download a stitch pattern into your brother electronic machine without using designaknit with the use of either the BL1-USB or BL5-USB cable.

 

For the emulator software to operate as a virtual floppy drive, you need the BL1-USB or BL5-USB cable. Using the FB100 Emulator, you can connects to the knitting machine.

The free program FB100 Utility (a different freeware program than the FB100 Emulator)  can be used to prepare virtual floppies for the emulator. "Virtual Floppy" means that your computer will be able to store Brother type files on it's hard drive as if it were the diskette in the FB100.
