These cables come with 9-pin serial port connections. If you need a USB connection, you need to purchase the USB Converter as well. There are two Passap Cables:

 

Cable 1: This allows downloading stitch patterns only into the Passap Console.

 

Cable 2: This allows downloading stitch patterns into the Passap Console as well as the Knit From Screen feature. You can have DesignaKnit instruct you regarding cast-on, row count, increases and decreases interactively while you knit using your computer screen. This replaces the FORM program.

 

USB Converter: This allows you to attach the serial cable to a USB port on your computer.
