Paint Shop Pro Plug-in for Designaknit is available on CD or Diskette. The Paint Shop Pro Plug-In allows any version of Paint Shop Pro to read and open DesignaKnit's .PAT format files.

 

Designaknit 6 Owners: If you have DesignaKnit Version 6, the plug-in allows you to look at the .PAT files in Paint Shop Pro in thumbnail form. You can then open the file in Paint Shop Pro to make changes to the stitch pattern. Paint Shop Pro has much more powerful editing features.

 

Designaknit 7 Owners: If you have DesignaKnit Version 7, you have to remember that when you SAVE your stitch pattern, and you want to be able to work with it in Paint Shop Pro, be sure to select the .PAT format option. The Paint Shop Pro Plug-in only work with .PAT format Designaknit stitch pattern files.

 

Which ever version of DAK you own, the plug-in lets you open the .PAT files in PSP and use the powerful editing features of PSP to work on your design.
