Ondori Basic Knit
Ondori is a Japanese publisher who has produced some amazing high quality knitting books over the years. This one is no exception. Page after page of very clear diagrams with english text restricted to captions for the diagrams. The publisher understands that a picture is worth 1000 words so every diagram is designed to instruct without the use of written language. The Ondori Basic Knit book will take you step-by-step through every basic aspect of knitting. It covers holding needles and yarns, casting on, decreasing, increasing, shaping shoulders, tension or gauge, seams, knitting colors, sewing in sleeves, and making buttonholes. Illustrations are accurate, very well drawn and in full color. This little 40 page book is jammed with information that every knitter can use. It's also a very helpful book when you can't quite remember how-its-done. This book is now out of print, so if you want one, don't wait. We only have two copies left.
