It's not hard to start because the high quality chalk used does not clump. You can trace fine precise lines easily using a ruler. It follows templates accurately and it easily fits between stencil grooves. The chalk marker has a screw-on cap which makes it is easy and clean to refill using clover chalk refil kit. Clover uses a very refined chalk in their marker and it easily washes or brushes away. The chalk marker is covered with a snap on plastic cap for storage to protect the tracing wheel. It is about the same size as a lip stick. Blue and Pink chalk markers are also available.
