Animal Textures by Iris Bishop - This is an exciting collection of 24 stitch punch card patterns for knitting machines, including electronic knitting machines. Included in the collect is an assortment of garments including coats, wraps, jacket and scarves. Here is what iris bishop wrote about this book: "Animal life has inspired many of my designs over the years, and so I have used my observations of animal skins etc. as the basis for these textures. The textures will of course compliment my fiarisle designs like the 'Animation" and 'Countryside' collections. Some textures like the 'fake fur' fabric do not look knitted, at first sight. Others, like the 'tiger texture' coat, look expensive and are not readily available in the High Street (shopping district). I have given plenty of practical notes with each fabric and I hope you will feel free to experiment with these designs, using this book as a 'workshop' experience rather than just another collection of designs."
